Stuttgart rechaza interés del Hull City en Josha Vagnoman

El VfB Stuttgart ha bloqueado las intenciones del Hull City por el extremo Josha Vagnoman. Los recién ascendidos a la Premier League ya vieron frustrado su intento por otro profesional de la Bundesliga, Justin Njinmah, del Werder Bremen.

En el caso de Vagnoman, el Stuttgart rechazó de inmediato una oferta de "los Tigers". Una lesión del lateral izquierdo Lorenz Assignon ha llevado al Stuttgart a considerar a Vagnoman indispensable por el momento.

Actualmente con una plantilla de 36 jugadores, el Stuttgart ciertamente estará abierto a dar salida a algunos futbolistas. Sin embargo, los participantes de la Champions League 2024/25 no tendrán prisa por reducir el tamaño de la plantilla antes de su regreso a la máxima competición europea tras un año de ausencia. El Stuttgart, que actualmente presenta un déficit de traspasos estimado para el verano de 2026 de alrededor de 16 millones de euros, sigue abierto a vender jugadores.

El hecho de que la oferta inicial del Hull City implicara únicamente la cesión de Vagnoman podría dejar a "los Suabos" abiertos a una consulta de compra directa. Vagnoman tiene actualmente un valor de mercado estimado de 10 millones de euros en las últimas listas de Transfermarkt.

El internacional alemán, con dos convocatorias, participó recientemente con su selección durante el parón internacional de marzo. En 40 apariciones con el club en todas las competiciones la temporada pasada, el lateral derecho natural anotó dos goles y dio cuatro asistencias.

VfB Stuttgart has blocked Hull City's interest in winger Josha Vagnoman. The newly promoted Premier League side had already missed out on another Bundesliga professional in the form of Werder Bremen's Justin Njinmah.

In Vagnoman's case, Stuttgart immediately rejected an offer from the Tigers. An injury to left-back Lorenz Assignon means Stuttgart considers Vagnoman indispensable for the time being.

Currently carrying a 36-man squad, Stuttgart will most certainly remain open to offloading a few players. The 2024/25 Champions League participants nevertheless won’t be in any rush to reduce squad size ahead of their UCL return after a year-long absence. Kicker claims that Stuttgart – currently running an estimated Summer 2026 transfer deficit of around €16m – are still open to selling players.

The fact that Hull’s initial offer involved merely taking Vagnoman on loan might leave the Swabians open to an outright purchase inquiry. Vagnoman currently maintains a €10m estimated market value in the latest Transfermarkt listings.

The twice-capped Germany international most recently featured for his country during the March international break. In 40 appearances for club across all competitions last season, the natural right back scored two goals and registered four assists.
