According to L’Équipe, Kimpembe declined an offer to stay in European football, specifically from AC Milan, who had expressed interest late in the transfer window. Despite Milan`s approach, Kimpembe was reportedly not open to the move to Italy, preventing any negotiations from even starting. This decision means he will not join his compatriots Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot, who both moved to AC Milan during the same transfer period. Kimpembe`s anticipated move to Qatar is expected to finalize soon, taking advantage of the still-open transfer window in the region. His limited playtime since a severe ankle injury in February 2023 means he no longer features in Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG.
